the Musical Theatre Alphabet:
Pretty Pictures!

Congratulations to C. Armstrong of Winnipeg, MB on winning the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamContest!

Here is her story:

It was the eighties. Big hair, banana clips, and shoulder pads were totally in. I was little. The auditorium was big. Her hair was really red. It wasn’t curly though, it was braided. There was an older looking dude who was clearly not actually old but he looked kinda old. The girl got really angry. Another girl got drunk. I don’t really remember much else. I remember leaving. I think I remember liking it. I definitely remember it. I think I remember wanting to be a part of it. I mostly remember sitting in the audience.

It was Anne of Green Gables at Sudbury Secondary School (the performing arts program). It was pretty awesome. Not as magical as what some people describe as their first musical theatre memories. but it’s the truth for me.

Little Red with her Prize!
